DARcor is the electrical engineering subconsultant for Dibble Engineers on ADOT’s On-Call services contract which has included design and construction oversight services for a total of 11 rest areas located across the state of Arizona. Design improvements included upgrades to each rest area’s potable water storage and pumping systems, electrical power distribution, roadway/ramp lighting, and high mast lighting. Additional improvements included upgrades to the wastewater evaporation pond aerator controls, restroom buildings, vending buildings, and ramadas. The projects also included replacing all existing building and ramada lighting with new energy efficient LED luminaires and occupancy sensors for automatic control of the lighting and energy efficiency.
Construction services included attending meetings, reviewing submittals/shop drawings, responding to Contractor RFI’s, writing field orders, and making site observations and inspections during construction. We also reviewed O&M manuals.
